Release 2.6 history:

2.6.1.12

(released

July 2023)

Updates:

  • New timing rules 25m1p. (40 seconds shooting time instead of 45 seconds shooting time)

Bug Fixes:

  • fixed boot issues for Raspberry PI version.

2.6.1.11

(released

September 2022)

Updates:

  • No controll of clock with keyboard when timing or settings menu is open. (to prevent accidental clock triggers when changing menu items). Except ctrl-S and ctrl-T to be able to close the menu.
  • TAB key made configurable. Before it had the function 'NEXT' but now configurable and by default no function. Some laser pointers are using the TAB-key function. For these pointers you need to put the function to 'NEXT' again in the controll menu.
  • Pressing R key instead of Space bar (next) when finishing an end, results in 4 beeps instead of 3 beeps to indicate a recovery is needed before retrieving the arrows.

Bug Fixes:

  • Prevented the stop signal starts when opening settings menu with ctrl+S.
  • Updated the ESP.ino file for full matrix with a reconnect of wifi routine for the case the connection to router get lost during operation.
  • On windows 11 systems the first sound signal starts with a delay. This is solved by using a different sound library. (SDL mixer which was already used for linux version). Also the interval is slightly updated from 850ms to 750ms.

2.6.1.10

(released

june 2022)

Updates:

  • Linux version available
  • Added Norwegian Language.
  • Updated Chinese translation.
  • Possibility to open timing and sequence menu with shortcut (ctrl+t).
  • Possibility to open settings menu with shortcut (ctrl+s).
  • Possibility to choose to shutdown remote systems (Raspberry PI's) automatically when closing the program. (bottom area of settings menu).

Bug Fixes:

  • Updated (exchanged) naming and function controll dropdown boxes for 'previous end' and 'next end'.
  • Archer nr visible for 25m1p in follow mode with slides.
  • Corrected helptext color Raspberry PI version.

2.6.1.9

Updates:

  • Prepared for new timing rules WA. (average 30 seconds per arrow instead of 40 seconds per arrow).
It is not implemented yet as default but easy select buttons added in the menu to select 30 or 40 seconds average timing.
  • Added default buttons in alternating shooting for PARA. (Updated timings).
  • Added the possibility to configure the functions of the NUM-PAD-KEYS. To be able to use a NUM-PAD keyboard to controll the timer.
  • New Icon for shutdown Raspberry PI version.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fix for using a SUB-Matrix panel connected to a PC or Raspberry PI in follow mode. (matrix didn't show sequence info in this situation).
  • 0 seconds green issue solved. When 0 seconds green selected, which means the color of traffic light goes to yellow directly, still went green in some situations. (like shootoff). This is repaired. And was needed for new WA timing rules since Shootoff will become 30 seconds which means yellow traffic light from the beginning.
  • Sub matrix ino file update. (AC_submatrix003.ino, solved issue when using double turns) .
  • Fixed timings for all buzzer types.

2.6.1.8

Updates:

  • small timing improvements for WIFI when used with Raspberry PI.
  • Formally released.

2.6.1.7

Updates:

  • Added Chinese language. (Thanks to Ziyang Chen)
  • Updated French translation. (Thanks to Dimitri Brosse).
  • For raspberry PI version: Configure as access point in network menu. By 1 button click. This prevents the need of a router when full matrix screens are used.
  • Remove the "fast countdown" effect*.

*: fast countdown effect was introduced since the beginning to correct for temporary PC software hang-up. Time corrected "fast countdown" using the system clock as reference. However, when the system clock synchronizes via the internet, the ArcheryClock lost the systemclock reference resulting in a fast countdown to zero.
