Release 2.6 is available. Formal for testing but it is widely used and turned out to be good to release soon. Only minor issues are expected. If you still find an issue in rel. 2.6, please let us know so we are able to repair this in time. Please mail to info@archeryclock.com.

Formal released version is release 2.5 (2.5.3.2).

  • Added possibility to pause in between turns. (added functionality for crossbow matches)
  • Next function behind TAB key. (to support specific laser pointer for remote control)
  • 3rd preference setting added for arrow keys to support specific laser pointer for remote control.
  • Added possibility to trigger recovery arrows (make-up arrows) without 10 seconds preparation (red) time. By trigger with shift key down (shift+1, shift+2, etc.). Functionality is also added behind drop-down boxes to select remote control functionality.

  • Added the arduino .ino files and fonts for Full matrix outdoor screen to the package. (To download into ESP32 board, MEGA-segment and MEGA line board).

Bug Fixes:

  • Remote serial system (Ledstrip or submatrix), update sequence line to empty when shootoff. (Instead of Keeping ABCD).
  • Sub matrix .ino file, initialize output 14 – 17. (Some Arduino boards those ports are not default output ports).
  • Update in Swedish language file.

  • Updated French translation. (Thanks to Dimitri Brosse).
  • For raspberry PI version: Configure as access point in network menu. By 1 button click. This prevents the need of a router when full matrix screens are used.
  • Remove the "fast countdown" effect*.

*: fast countdown effect was introduced since the beginning to correct for temporary PC software hang-up. Time corrected "fast countdown" using the system clock as reference. However, when the system clock synchronizes via the internet, the ArcheryClock lost the systemclock reference resulting in a fast countdown to zero.

Software is available for free. We are still doing some changes in the code. Mainly to add functionality, but also to improve usability.

Any suggestions to improve the software let us know.

  • Multicasting. Sent timing via (wireless) LAN to multiple other PC's/Raspberry PI's.
    - So no long video cables needed anymore.
    - Easy support for alternating matches since it is easy to project a different clock on left and right side.
    -In combination with Raspberry PI systems a cost saving solution.
