Using the Countdown for short distances:

 

Fita is used for indoor tournaments on 18 meters. Or for outdoor tournaments on 90, 70, 60, 50 and 30 meters. Depending on the situation a different sequence is used. In most situations 4 archers will shoot per target, 2 archers per target at the same time.

On short distances (18 meters, 30 meters or 50 meters) Every end is 3 arrows in 2 minutes.

 

Setup the countdown for short distances.

  • Click the clock icon:

  • From the menu select FITA:

  •  

  • select the correct sequence. (In most cases this is AB-CD, 2 archers per turn, 2 turns per end.)

  • Be sure that selection box ‘double ends’ is not selected (this selection box is only for long distances):

  • Optionally timing per end and shoot-off timing can be changed:

  • Optionally the number of practice ends can be changed:

  •  

  • click the clock icon to remove the menu:
    clock
  •  



Starting the countdown:

After setting up the countdown the first (practice) end starts after pressing the space bar or clicking the next button:

If all archers are finished shooting their arrows before the 2 minutes are finished, it is possible to stop the clock and go to the next turn by pressing space bar or clicking the next button.

Note: if the clock started up in another end than the first (practice) end, it is possible to correct this by pressing the up/down arrows on the keyboard or clicking the arrows on the left bottom side of the screen:

Same for correcting the turns, in that case use the left/right button on the keyboard or click the arrow buttons on the right bottom side of the screen.
